Punjab Chief Minister tour Delhi Metro


The Chief Minister of Punjab, Prakash Singh Badal visited Delhi Metro and travelled from Central Secretariatto Rajiv Chowk Metro station and back to Patel Chowk Metro station where he visited the Metro Museum.

The Minister said, “It is for the first time that I enjoyed the travel by Delhi Metro. It is an excellent experience. Our Metro service is comparable to the Metros in other parts of the world.”

Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has prepared Detailed Project Report (DPR) for Ludhiana city comprising of two corridors covering approx. 29 KMs. Corridor-1 is of 16 KMs from Ayali Chowk to BBMB Power House and Corriodr-2 is of 13 KMs from Gill Village to Rahon Road Chungi. The DPR has already been submitted by DMRC to the Government of Punjab.

DMRC Managing Director, Mangu Singh and other senior DMRC officials accompanied the chief minister.
