By introducing such products we endeavor to demonstrate our forte which is a strong understanding and application of technology supported by excellence in engineering and manufacturing built up over the last nine decades.”
The engines will be produced both for the genset and other fixed speed applications as well as variable speed and vehicle applications. For gensets they will be available with Stanadyne mechanical injection systems using 750 bar injection pressure and achieving CPCB II norms which will be applicable from June 2013 onwards.
For vehicle and variable speed applications the engine will use CRDI systems meeting the corresponding emission norms applicable currently (e.g. Euro IV and BS IV for vehicle and variable speed application) and are Euro V protected so the engines will meet future norms as well..
With regard to gas engines, the company is developing the gas engines to meet the genset requirements using mixture type of gas systems. The engines will also be developed using high pressure gas injection / mixing system for vehicle application.
Available with rotary fuel pump and CRDI options, the engines will have 4 valves per cylinder and turbo charged with charge air cooling. The engines are of compact size which occupies less space per unit output. Euro IV compliant for automotive application, flexi fuel option (diesel, CNG, LPG) with B10 life of 7,000 hours/ 250,000 kms are some of its salient features which is a formula for success in the market.
The company product includes, engines, gensets, cylinder liners, cylinder heads & cylinder blocks, crankshafts, valve seat inserts, flywheels & pulleys. It is also planning to roll out a range of vehicles using its own engines.
